Noah Krauss, Cello
Cellist, Noah Krauss is a sophomore at the Juilliard School as a student of Timothy Eddy. A native of New York City, Noah began his musical studies at the age of three at the School for Strings and later studied at the Juilliard Pre-college. Noah's acknowledgments include top prizes at the New York Music Competition, WDAV Chamber Music Competition and an award from the YoungArts Foundation. Noah was a member of the New York String Orchestra and currently plays in the Montclair Orchestra. Noah's additional studies include Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, Heifetz International Music Institute, The Sejong International Music Festival, The Sitka Cello Seminar, The Bowdoin Music Festival, and The Greenwood Music Camp. During the summers, he has studied with cellists Clive Greensmith, Colin Carr, Steven Doane, Emmanuel Feldman, and Zuill Bailey. Noah is also an accomplished pianist, currently studying with Julian Martin.
